Pommy Mommy of the Week: Tiffany Butler
By Pommy Mommy on March 24, 2014
My name is Tiffany and I have 5 beautiful Pomeranians! Blanca my queen, Meadow my princess, Babette my baby princess, Destiny my other princess & Teddy the King! I have loved Pomeranians for as long as I can remember and was always drawn to their beauty & small size. Their long fluffy fur & Pom Pom tails where what got me hooked and of course because they always look like they are smiling, made me think that they were the happiest dog in the world!
I never had a Pom growing up but always longed for one! I knew without a question that when I grew up I would be a Pommy Mommy to at least one and possibly more! I first got Blanca when I was pregnant with my second son. I searched and searched what seemed like forever for my perfect white/cream Pom that I always wanted. I instantly fell in love with Blanca! She is my queen and knows it! We have such a special strong bond, obviously being my first! I love that little women with all of my heart! I call her my puppy soul mate!
After having Blanca for a while, I found that their amazing beauty was only surpassed by their amazing personality! It didn’t take long for me to get the urge to bring Blanca home a little sister! That’s when I found Meadow! She was so beautiful and looked like a little bear! At the time I thought I would only have the two… but circumstances got the better of me. It was very surprising at how different but equally great their personalities could be. Blanca is a burst of energy, wild women, full of spunk… where as Meadow is more calm, sensitive and sweet!
With all the girls in the house I thought it would be a great idea to add a boy Pomeranian to the mix. In my search for the ultimate boy Pom I found and fell in love with my baby Babette! She is so far from a boy but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to love this baby girl. She is totally a girly girl, prissy little princess! She’s the perfect little sister to Blanca and Meadow!
Next came Destiny… I saw her at 9 months old not a puppy like the others… She was stunning! She had been too small to breed and needed a forever home. When I found out she was blood cousins with Blanca I knew I was destined to have her!
Then at last my boy, Teddy! He is the icing on the cake and makes my Pom family complete! The King as I call him, is the sweetest, dopiest most gentle laid back best little puppy in the whole world. I’m truly blessed to have such amazing pups, from their beauty to personality I know Pomeranian’s are the only dogs for me! I’ve been bragging about my furry babies but I also have two boys… of the human kind, that just love playing and socializing with my Poms. It’s pretty amazing to be an outsider looking in to watch the flurry of activity that I am blessed with. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Things we love to do are car rides, romps in the backyard and living the good life. La vita Bene. I love spoiling my Poms… it seems like they sometimes have a bigger and better wardrobe then me! In the springtime the babies love to go to Boston and walk through the Public Gardens on the river… it’s like their own little pommy vacation. Shopping is a big deal on Newbury Street and many restaurants let us fine dine for the added touch after a day of shopping.
I try to do everything with them! I take them shopping thru Copley Place and The Prudential Center. In the summer we love to lounge by the pool and fill up on puppy treats. They love to splash around in the water even get a little muddy. Babette has even jumped in and floated around on the floats… as a princess ruling over her watery kingdom. I love them all so much and my life is so much greater with them in it.
I know this was supposed to be about me but my Pomeranians are such a huge part of my life that I thought they should share most of the spotlight. I am so grateful to be able to share my life with the most wonderful dog breed in the world.
